The Making of Black Bristle Coir
From selected mature Kanyakumari coconut husks to deeply boiled dyed hanks, precision steel-pin hackling, and manual 52kg–56kg hand-stitched gunny bales.
“High-quality broom manufacturing demands natural tensile springiness. Kanyakumari's saline coastal breeze produces thicker cell walls in coconut husks that resist moisture softening.”
Backed by 35+ years of hands-on coir industry expertise and our dedicated unit established 6 years ago, CCF operates a rigorous multi-stage refinement workflow delivering consistent quality to brush manufacturers nationwide.

What Makes Our Black Bristle Fibre Stronger?
From raw coastal husk selection to hot-dyeing and manual packaging, every stage is optimized for industrial durability.

Thick Coastal Coconut Husks
Sourced directly from Kanyakumari farmers where sea breeze and soil give coconut fibres thicker natural walls and superior elastic bounce-back.
Deep Thermal Dye Penetration
Boiled in specialized hot vats so the jet-black dye penetrates deep into the cellular core, preventing bleeding or fading during wet cleaning.
Steel-Pin Multi-Pass Combing
Multiple passes through sharp steel combing pins remove short curly hair, pith, and dust, leaving only long, straight, stiff bristles.
Manual 52-56kg Baling Protection
Hand-packed into gunny bags without hydraulic machine crushing. Fibres retain their full natural stiffness and springiness for brush machines.
How We Process Our Black Bristle Fibre
Our 4-step production cycle guarantees uniform 8"-12" length, deep non-fading black dye, and undamaged fibre springiness.

Husk Selection & Hackling
Top quality coastal husks are defibred and processed through steel pin hackling combs to separate stiff bristle fibres from loose mattress coir.

Thermal Dye Boiling
Raw fibre hanks are boiled in large thermal dye vats with industrial black mineral dyes for rich, non-fading colour permanence.

Open-Air Sun Curing
Boiled black hanks are spread in tidy rows across concrete sun-drying yards until moisture reaches 12-15%, preventing fungus during transit.

52-56kg Manual Hand Packing
Finished dry hanks are hand-packed into strong stitched gunny bags without hydraulic machine crush. Each bale weighs 52kg to 56kg.

Many modern exporters rely on 50-tonne high-pressure hydraulic balers that crush and deform straight bristle fibres. At CCF, we preserve bristle integrity by exclusively packing by hand into natural breathable hessian gunny sacks.
Zero Hydraulic Crush
Fibres retain their natural spring rebound memory for brush tufting.
2-3 PP Strapped Hanks
Each 100g-250g hank is tightly secured with blue PP strap bands.
